Who is responsible

CMx Group Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales with company number 15071350, is the controller for personal information submitted through this website.

Registered office: 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX.

The public site and brand use the name CMx, which refers to the same company.

Privacy enquiries and data-protection requests should be sent to Enquiries@cmx-group.com.

Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to respond properly and to keep the site secure.

The fields marked as required on our enquiry and publication forms are necessary for us to identify you, confirm the institutional context and reply or issue the requested paper. If they are not provided, we cannot fulfil the request.

  • Name, work email, organisation, job title and country
  • The context of your enquiry
  • The publication requested, or the engagement your enquiry concerns
  • Whether you chose to opt in to occasional CMx publications and briefing notes, and the date of that choice
  • Limited technical and security information needed to operate and protect the site

Why we use it

  • To respond to enquiries
  • To provide requested publications
  • To understand institutional engagement with CMx research
  • To operate, secure and prevent abuse of the website
  • To comply with legal obligations

Lawful bases

We rely on legitimate interests for proportionate business-to-business enquiry handling, publication fulfilment and site security. Where an enquiry relates to a prospective engagement, we rely on steps taken towards a contract. Where a legal obligation applies, we rely on that obligation.

Requesting a publication is not consent to marketing. The publication form carries a separate optional opt-in for occasional CMx publications and briefing notes. Where you tick it, we rely on your consent for those updates and nothing else. Leaving it untouched has no effect on receiving the paper.

You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing Enquiries@cmx-group.com, and every update we send will offer the same route.

Who receives it

Authorised CMx personnel, and service providers supporting website hosting, form delivery, security and IT administration. These currently include Lovable and FormSubmit where relevant.

International processing

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where a restricted transfer occurs, CMx will use an applicable adequacy route, an appropriate safeguard or another lawful transfer mechanism.

How long we keep it

Normally no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact. We keep information for longer only where there is an active relationship, a contractual or legal obligation, a dispute, a security requirement or another documented reason.

Publication request records, including the fields submitted and any opt-in choice, are kept for up to 24 months from the request. Where you have opted in to updates, we keep the record of that consent for as long as it remains active and for a further 24 months afterwards so that we can evidence it.

Your rights

Subject to the circumstances, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability.

Please contact us first at Enquiries@cmx-group.com so that we can look into the matter.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.

Cookies and analytics

The site may use strictly necessary technologies required to operate and secure it. CMx does not currently intentionally deploy non-essential analytics, behavioural advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, notice and consent controls will be introduced before those technologies are set.

This notice is reviewed when our processing or our providers materially change.
